I had the pleasure to have Lakisha Hadley as a professor first and she was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, making learning fun and retainable! Aside from the great experience I received as a student, I found that she was very relatable as well. As a nursing student and soon to be nurse, we all have various aspects of our lives including our studies, work life, and family. She was able to share tips of how to balance life and still be successful in meeting your goals. In addition, she prepared me for things I could expect as a new nurse based on her own personal experiences. I feel that real life information is always so beneficial when walking into a new chapter!
